Fr Stephen recently took Sabbatical and his focus was Pilgrimage.
During his time away he visited historical locations including Lichfield Cathedral, Canterbury Cathedral and the Basilicas of Assisi and we were entertained with slides and a history lesson as well as enjoying our Bring & Share Lunch.
We’ll be sharing more images here within the next few weeks.

We invite you to join us at our services
On Sunday afternoons during Lent we will have the traditional Lent devotion of Stations of the Cross at 4.00pm.
Stations of the Cross invites us to walk with Jesus through the last events of His earthly life from being condemned to death by Pilate to being buried in a tomb. We stop at each of the 14 ‘Stations’ that are around the wall of our church, hear these events associated with each Station, and reflect on how they can help us in our Christian life. The service lasts about 40 minutes. As last year, we will be sharing this service jointly with our friends in our neighbouring parish of St Alban.
The Residents of Balfour, Coventry, Columbo and Brisbane Roads last night enjoyed Carols in the traditional manner again this year as we toured and collected donations in aid of The Children’s Society.
Those that braved the cold, were rewarded with mulled wine and mince pies kindly prepared by our Parish Priest, Fr Stephen.
We’ll be announcing next week how much we collected. It’s not too late to donate, please feel free to visit us at St Margaret’s.
